Rocket Health’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Davis Musinguzi was last week named the Entrepreneur Of The Year, at the 2022 Young Entrepreneurship Summit.
The summit held on 14th July, 2022 at the Kampala Serena Hotel, was organised by the Chamber of Young Entrepreneurs East Africa to celebrate young entrepreneurs in the country.
The deputy speaker of parliament, Thomas Tayebwa pledged to looby for pro-business policies and create a conducive environment for young entrepreneurs to thrive.
‘At Parliament level, we are putting more money in the Microfinance Support Centre and we have told Uganda Development Bank to reserve some of the money for the young people.

Edwin Musiime, the chamber president said this summit is organised to bring together young enterprising people and stakeholders in the business community to share experiences, insights and opportunities.
I strongly believe that more access to opportunities, innovativeness, financial inclusion, and a digital economy will go a long way to motivate the entrepreneurial drive among young people, addressing many of our foremost youth challenges, including the high rates of unemployment.
